Black Rose Quartz is regular natural Rose Quartz that was naturally heated within the earth and that is what causes it to be a darker form of Rose Quartz (with inclusions of manganese and hematite).  Black Rose Quartz has the same properties as regular Rose Quartz, with the added benefits of being very grounding and protective. It protects from negative emotions and thoughtforms.
